Option 3: Watch at least one of the brief clips from Pay it Forward the film (links are posted below) and do the following: a) answer the question â€œWhat concept or theory from PSYC 3010 could describe and/or explain the classroom scene?â€ (in other words, what have we learned that could explain the teacher-student interaction, why the teacher is asking questions, how the students are responding, the purpose of the assignment itself, etc.?); b) as instructed in the film, â€œThink of an idea to change the worldâ€¦â€ by describing it in as much detail as you can, including the problem or challenge that the idea is meant to address; c) define at least 4 concepts and/or theories from PSYC 3010 that would describe or explain how your idea might work; and d) if you can, â€œ…put it into action.â€ For the idea itself, be creative: it should be implementable even during these challenging times. And for part â€œd,â€ I realize that time is quite tight, so even if you canâ€™t start putting it into action before the paper is due, you are encouraged to think about how your idea might turn out if you did implement it and how you or someone else could go about implementing it. Also, citing the film clip itself would count as one in-text citation in the paper.
